INGLEMOOR, Bellevue and Anacortes each took home team-title hardware from their respective state girls high school championship meets in Washington over Nov. 10-11.  The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association held its meets at the King County Aquatics Center.<\/p>\n<p><b>4A State Championships<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Inglemoor High stepped away from the state meet with the 4A crown after totaling 190 points.  Ballard High finished second with 171 points, while Garfield High took third with 156 points.  Gig Harbor High (131) and Lake Stevens High (124.5) comprised the rest of the top five.<\/p>\n<p>South Kitsap High senior Madison Rousell proved to be the star of the show by claiming a pair of titles.  First, she won the 50 free in 23.86, before stopping the clock in 52.34 for the 100 free win.<\/p>\n<p>On the springboard, Tahoma High senior Mariesa Cloud dominated with 451.85 points to win the one-meter event.<\/p>\n<p><b>3A State Championships<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Bellevue High took home the state 3A title with 216 points, while Bainbridge High placed second with 197 points.  Kennedy High came in third right behind with 189 points, while Mercer Island High (165.5) and Camas High (149.5) rounded out the top five.<\/p>\n<p>A pair of swimmers accomplished an event-title deuce.  Skyline High freshman Andie Taylor touched first in the 200 free (1:49.47) and the 500 free (4:55.78), while Kennedy High junior Brianne Lindblad won the 100 free (52.62) and the 100 back (56.59).<\/p>\n<p>Issaquah senior Jessie Snowden triumphed in the one-meter with 465.15 points for the state diving title.<\/p>\n<p><b>2A State Championships<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Anacortes High won the 2A team title with 100 points to edge Centralia High&#39;s second-place effort of 84 points.  Sequim High took third with 73 points, while Aberdeen High placed fourth with 44 points.<\/p>\n<p>Centralia High junior Amelia Messegee posted the only double of the meet with wins in the 200 free (1:51.83) and 100 free (50.99).<\/p>\n<p>In diving action, Sequim High senior Stacia Bibler won the one-meter with 301.45 points.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Jason Marsteller FEDERAL WAY, Washington, November 16.
