AFTER dazzling the crowd on the second night of the USA Swimming Grand Prix at Palo Alto College, Olympians Aaron Peirsol, Ian Crocker and Brendan Hansen opted to bypass the final day of the competition. Representing Auburn Aquatics, Margaret Hoelzer defeated the field in the 100-yard butterfly with a showing of 54.00, nearly a second clear of Tanica Jamison (54.73). Meanwhile, Olympian Tara Kirk was an easy winner in the 100 breaststroke, thanks to a swim of 1:00.25.
