AUSTIN – Michael Phelps served as the warm-up act for the third night in a row at the American Short Course Championships in Austin.<\/p>\n

On night one, Michael Phelps\u00a0unofficially moved to seventh on the all-time list in the 200-yard IM with a 1:40.84<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last night, he unofficially broke into the top 10 all time in the 100 fly with a 44.91<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tonight, he unofficially clocked his second-fastest 100-yard freestyle time ever with a 42.17.<\/p>\n

He split the race: 9.59,\u00a020.28,\u00a031.39,\u00a042.17<\/p>\n

That’s just off his personal best of 41.93 from the 2008 Toyota Grand Prix that nearly ranks him among the top 20 of all time.<\/p>\n

All of these times are unofficial because Phelps has yet to finish his six-month suspension following his DUI arrest.<\/p>\n

Michael Phelps will be done with his DUI suspension<\/a> and have his first official swims next month at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Mesa, Ariz<\/a>.<\/p>\n
