Freeman, 14, of The Baylor School, posted a time of 1:50.62 to replace Morton&#8217;s record.<\/p>\n<div>Morton was a successful age group swimmer in the early to mid-eighties. His records have spanned years and withstood some of today&#8217;s greatest swimmers, including Michael Phelps.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A successful butterflyer and IMer, Morton continues to hold three age group records today: 10 &amp; under 200 IM (2:12.29, 1982), 11-12 100 fly (51.85, 1984) and 11-12 200 IM (1:56.61, 1984).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Morton continued swimming throughout high school and college although without as noticeable of success as his younger years.
