PRINCETON – The Princeton Tigers reclaimed the Ivy League men’s title from Harvard, which ended a five-year Princeton run last year with an 82-point victory.<\/p>\n

Princeton has won the last six Ivy League Championship meets held at their home pool (2004, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015).<\/p>\n

Penn’s Chris Swanson cleared the NCAA A cut in the men’s 1650-yard free to start the final night of the meet. \u00a0Swanson, who beat the oldest record in the Ivy League books last night<\/a>, won tonight in a pool and meet record 14:45.12.<\/p>\n

Swanson’s swim eclipsed the pool record of 15:00.16 set by Princeton’s Paul Noelle back in 2012, and downed Swanson’s own meet record of 14:53.75 from last year. \u00a0Harvard’s John Cole’s 2002 conference mark of 14:39.71 still stands.<\/p>\n

That gave Swanson a distance sweep here at the Ivy League Championships.<\/p>\n
