PRINCETON – Princeton absolutely dominated night two at the Ivy League Men’s Championships, pushing their lead to more than 100 points against Harvard, 488-385.<\/p>\n

Princeton kicked off what was\u00a0a big night of scoring for them with a conference record and NCAA A cut in the 200-yard free relay.<\/p>\n

Harrison Wagner (19.42), Connor Maher (19.27), Julian Mackrel (19.64) and Sandy Bole (19.02) finished with a time of 1:17.35, clearing Princeton’s 2009 meet, conference and pool record of 1:17.93.<\/p>\n

Harvard’s Paul O’Hara (19.90), Steven Tan (19.84), Max Yakubovich (19.90) and Griffin Schumacher (19.12) finished second in 1:18.76 with Columbia’s David Jakl (19.74), Alex Ngan (19.32), Stanley Wong (19.98) and Joe Shepley (19.84) earning third in 1:18.88.<\/p>\n

Penn’s Chris Swanson took down the meet record in the 500-yard free with a time of 4:17.53. \u00a0The effort surpassed the meet and pool record of 4:18.04 set by Princeton’s Travis McNamara back in 2009.<\/p>\n

Princeton’s Samuel Smiddy (4:18.21) and Yale’s Brian Hogan (4:19.78) took second and third. \u00a0Yale also has Kei Hyogo (4:19.84) and Rob Harder (4:21.53) earn fourth and fifth for big points for the Yale squad.<\/p>\n

Princeton’s Teo D’Alessandro then won the men’s 200-yard IM with a time of 1:44.94, while Harvard’s Christian Yeager finished second in 1:45.61.<\/p>\n

Princeton had a huge event with Marco Bove (1:45.76), Connor Maher (1:45.98) and Byron Sanborn (1:46.11) also claiming third through fifth.<\/p>\n

Princeton kept on rolling as Harrison Wagner clocked a 19.39 to win the men’s 50-yard free. \u00a0Penn’s Eric Schultz (19.54) and Yale’s Aaron Greenberg (19.84) claimed second and third.<\/p>\n

Princeton had two other A finalists with Sandy Bole (19.85) and Ben Schafer (20.17) also scoring big final points.<\/p>\n

In the diving break, Harvard’s Michael Mosca picked up the win with 368.05 points. \u00a0Princeton’s Nathan Makarewicz finished second with 342.65 points, while Columbia’s Jayden Pantel snared third with 328.80 points.<\/p>\n

Princeton closed out a huge day as Michael Strand (46.70), Jack Pohlmann (52.63), Corey Okubo (47.61) and Harrison Wagner (42.62) won the 400-yard medley relay in 3:09.56.<\/p>\n

Penn (3:11.82) and Harvard (3:12.44) went 2-3 in the final relay of the night.<\/p>\n
