Records also fell in Washington&#8217;s 2A and 4A high school state championships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2A<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Anacortes won by a narrow margin with 226 points with Sehome right behind them with 225. Archbishop Murphy rounded out the top three with 218.<\/p>\n<p>Sammanish senior Jacob Tower was first in the 50 free. Tower\u2019s 21.10 replaces Andrew Franco-Munoz\u2019s 2014 meet record of 21.17.<\/p>\n<p>Sehome\u2019s 200 free relay team of Josh Larson (22.26), Joseph Adams (22.85), Zach Shenkin (22.05) and Isaiah Grambo (21.39) took first barely missing the meet record of 1:28.50 instead turning in a 1:28.55.<\/p>\n<p>James Scott of Steilacoom thundered to a new meet record in the 100 breaststroke. His time of 57.50 earned him an AAC qualifying cut.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/results\/2015-washington-2a-boys-high-school-state-championships-live-results-day-2\/high-school\/2015\/February\/20\" target=\"_blank\">2015 Washington 2A Boys High School State Championships, Live Results &#8211; Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>3A<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bellevue won with a whopping 406 points. Mercer Island finished second with 225 and Lakeside (Seattle) took third with 154 points.<\/p>\n<p>Tommy Thach of Kennedy Catholic claimed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:38.47. While he was short of the meet record of 1:38.18 Thach\u2019s time earned himself a AAA qualifying cut. Thach also earned himself an AAC cut in the 100 back with a time of 51.19.<\/p>\n<p>Lakeside\u2019s Abraham Devine earned himself a AAA cut in the 200 IM. His time of 1:50.26 was over four seconds faster than the competition. Devine also finished first in the 100 fly clocking a 49.95 for an AAC cut.<\/p>\n<p>Mercer Island\u2019s Ian Caldwell clocked a 45.80 to claim first in the 100 free. Franklin\u2019s Dean Nguyen touched close behind with a 46.02. Both Caldwell and Nguyen qualified for AAC cuts.<\/p>\n<p>Bellevue\u2019s 200 free relay team of Sabastian Steen (21.88), Thomas Eggenberger (21.86), Zach Rossman (21.53) and Daniel Prang (20.91) finished first with an AAC qualifying time of 1:26.18.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/results\/2015-washington-3a-boys-high-school-state-championships-live-results\/high-school\/2015\/February\/20\" target=\"_blank\">2015 Washington 3A Boys High School State Championships, Live Results &#8211; Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>4A<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The top three teams kept it close during the meet sticking within 24 points of each other. Newport (Bellevue) claimed the first place title with 199 points while Camas grabbed second with 185. Kamiak finished third with 175.<\/p>\n<p>Inglemoor\u2019s Seth Birrell (24.37), Reid Anderson (26.40), Fisher Munro (23.42) and Alex Crotteau (21.38) opened the meet with a record-breaking 200 medley relay. Their time of 1:35.57 took down Issaquah\u2019s 2014 meet record of 1:35.91 and edged out Issaquah\u2019s relay team of Jason Klein (23.75), Henry Pratt (27.62), Gabe Florsheim (22.72) and Brandon Leu (21.68) who placed second with 1:35.77. Both teams earned themselves AAC cuts.<\/p>\n<p>Rogers\u2019s (Puyallup) senior Mitch Crossen claimed first in the 100 free with a time of 45.97 earning himself an AAC cut.<\/p>\n<p>Newport\u2019s Dave Makhervaks dashed to an AAC cut in the 100 back with a finishing time of 50.80.
