Manaudou led a top-four sweep for CN Marseille as Mehdy Metella (23.89), Fred Bousquet (24.22) and Anthonny Ralefy (24.71) snared second through fourth.<\/p>\n<p>Metella just missed his fourth-ranked season best of 23.82 from the Nice stop of the Golden Tour.<\/p>\n<p>Germany&#8217;s Marco Koch jumped to the top of the world rankings in the men&#8217;s 200-meter breast with a sizzling 2:10.10. \u00a0That swim eclipsed the <a title=\"Cody Miller Lights Up Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando With World Best\" href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/cody-miller-lights-up-arena-pro-swim-series-orlando-with-world-best\/\" target=\"_blank\">2:10.28 set by Cody Miller last night at the Arena Pro Swim Series<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Quentin Coton finished a distant second in 2:13.57 with David Verraszto taking third overall in the 200 breast with a 2:14.36.<\/p>\n<p>The Netherlands picked up a pair of golds in the women&#8217;s 50-meter fly as Inge Dekker and Ranomi Kromowidjojo blasted the pool with matching 26.07s to shoot to the top of the world rankings.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Jeanette Ottesen held the top spot with a 26.24 from the Stadion Open in Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>France&#8217;s Melanie Henique raced her way to third tonight in 26.20 to stand third in the world as well, while fourth-place finisher Maaike De Waard (26.73) and fifth-place finisher Marie Wattel (26.76) both moved into the top 10.<\/p>\n<p>Katinka Hosszu kicked off day two with a world best in the women&#8217;s 1500-meter free as she clocked a 16:31.19. \u00a0That swim bettered the 17:06.68 clocked by Denise Gruhn at the Speedo Flanders Cup.<\/p>\n<p>France&#8217;s Julie Berthier took second in 16:58.23 to stand second in the world so far this year, while Alizee Morel wound up third in 17:11.88.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu followed with a second victory as she clocked a 1:01.00 in the women&#8217;s 100-meter back. \u00a0That&#8217;s a bit off her fourth-ranked season best of 1:00.47 from the Nice stop of the Golden Tour.<\/p>\n<p>The Netherlands&#8217; Maaike De Waard finished second tonight in 1:02.60 with Great Britain&#8217;s Ekarterina Avramova placing third in 1:02.71.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu had her win streak ended in the women&#8217;s 200-meter breast when Adeline Martin touched her out, 2:29.34 to 2:29.64. \u00a0The Netherlands&#8217; Moniek Nijhuis rounded out the podium with a third-place time of 2:32.91.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu jumped back into the win column with her third win of the night when she clocked a 4:42.30 in the women&#8217;s 400-meter IM. \u00a0Evelyn Verraszto (4:46.47) and Fantine Lesaffre (4:49.28) placed second and third.<\/p>\n<p>Camille Lacourt turned in a 53.60 to win the men&#8217;s 100-meter back title, vaulting to third in the world behind only Ryosuke Irie (53.15) and Matt Grevers (53.27).<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Stravius moved up to fourth in the world with a second-place time of 53.81, while Eddie Moueddene clinched third in 55.84.<\/p>\n<p>Femke Heemskerk provided The Netherlands with another win as she clocked a 1:56.87 to win the women&#8217;s 200-meter free. \u00a0That performance pushed her to third in the world behind Katie Ledecky (1:56.16) and Emma McKeon (1:56.32).<\/p>\n<p>Charlotte Bonnet took second in 1:58.16 to make the top 10 in the world, while Coralie Balmy checked in with a third-place 1:58.85. \u00a0Hosszu missed the podium with a fourth-place 1:59.28 as she continues her race-pace training with racing every event at most of the meets she enters.<\/p>\n<p>In a close battle, Great Britain&#8217;s Robbie Renwick touched out France&#8217;s Yannick Agnel, 1:47.71 to 1:47.85, for the men&#8217;s 200-meter free title.<\/p>\n<p>That pushed Renwick to second in the world behind James Guy (1:46.94) and Agnel to fourth in the world behind former training partner Conor Dwyer (1:47.76).<\/p>\n<p>Jacob Heidtmann finished third overall tonight with a 1:49.45.<\/p>\n<p>David Verraszto closed out the second night with a 4:17.91 to win the men&#8217;s 400-meter IM. That&#8217;s just off his sixth-ranked season best of 4:17.00 from the Nice stop of the Golden Tour.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Desplanches (4:20.27) and Guillaume Laure (4:26.39) took second and third.<br
