ORLANDO- The swimmer without a country, Arkady Vyatchanin, seems to finally have a new country’s colors to wear. After a falling out with his homeland of Russia, Vyatchanin has spent the past two years seeking citizenship elsewhere. After establishing residency in Serbia, he looks to be on his way to representing them in Rio in 2016. Here he talks waiting to be approved by FINA, how training with Gregg Troy is going, and recovering from a foot injury. Vyatchanin was second in last night’s 100 back with a 54.23 and is seeded second in tonight’s 200 back.<\/p>\n
