ROSEMONT – With the Big Ten conference swimming and diving championships just around the corner, this week’s honors from the conference headquarters is likely giving six athletes a major boost of confidence heading into the big meet. Shane Ryan won his first weekly honor this season, while Ivy Martin picked up another in a series of recognitions as she wraps up her collegiate career.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022\tFinished first in the 100 backstroke (46.26), 50 freestyle (20.37) and 100 freestyle (43.70)

\n\u2022\tEarns his second career Swimmer of the Week honor <\/p>\n
