AFTER winning four meets last weekend, the University of Houston swimming and diving team swept the Conference USA weekly honors. Senior Szintia Szanto and senior Anna Kiess were honored Tuesday as the league&#39;s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>It was the seventh time that Kiess has won the league&#39;s weekly diving honor and the third award for Szanto.<\/p>\n<p>Both student-athletes helped lead the Cougars to a 4-0 start for the first time in school history with back-to-back tri-meet sweeps at host New Mexico State and Northern Colorado last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Szanto, a native of Budapest, Hungary, claimed first place in four individual events and was a member of two winning medley relay teams. She finished first in three events on Saturday, including the 200-yard individual medley in which her time of 2:03.12 was the second fastest in UH history.<\/p>\n<p>Kiess was equally impressive in the diving events, sweeping the 3-meter springboard competition on both days.
