SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A mysterious illness kept Tom Shields from competing last week at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Austin, and in this video interview at the Arena photo shoot, he discusses the road to recovery and how his earlier bout of pneumonia might be the cause of the lingering maladies.<\/p>\n

On the upside of Shields\u2019 end to 2014 was his wedding to his fianc\u00e9, Gianna, and subsequent honeymoon. Training in Colorado Springs and traveling to San Antonio for the Arena photo shoot have kept him and his wife from fully settling into married life, but \u201cI\u2019m sure things will change,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n
