Australians Ian Thorpe set a new World Record on 200 m free \u2013 1.41,10, having broke his own time of 1.42.54 (set at the beginning of the year in Sydney). In the morning heats he won easily with 1.45.92 and appeared in the final very motivated. “I didn’t expect to set a world record today, – he considered \u2013 I found that this morning I wasn’t concentrated. With regard to the Olympic Games I hope I’ll be able to maintain this high level. But still I don’t feel in the role of being invincible.
