PHOENIX – This is the Poll of the Week for Friday, January 2, 2015, brought to you by Strechcordz swim training products. With the new year now on us, we wanted to know which meet you are most looking forward to in 2015.<\/p>\n

<\/iframe> \nNote: YouTube Measures Views Only For Episodes Watched On YouTube.com \nSubscribe to our YouTube channel! <\/p>\nAlthough there are literally hundreds of championship meets slated to take place all over the world this year, we\u2019re narrowing it down to just three upcoming swim meets for you. The first is the women\u2019s NCAA Division I swimming and diving championships slated for Greensboro, North Carolina, in March. The second choice is the men\u2019s NCAA Division I meet in Iowa City the following week. And the third choice is the FINA world championships, set for August in Kazan, Russia. Just go to swimmingworld.com to place your vote in the poll on the right side of the page.<\/p>\nBefore we go we want to bring you the results of our last poll, which asked you if FINA puts more emphasis on short course competition versus long course competition. And it seems that those who voted believe that FINA does not put more emphasis on short course swimming, with 65 percent of voters picking the \u201cno\u201d option. Thirty-five percent said yes, FINA does emphasize short course swimming more than long course competition.
