AMSTERDAM – Femke Heemskerk had an outstanding weekend at the Amsterdam Cup with a pair of top-five winning performances in the long course competition.<\/p>\n

Heemskerk scorched the women’s 200 free with a 1:55.35 for the win. \u00a0That put her third in the world behind Sarah Sjostrom (1:55.04) and Katie Ledecky (1:55.16).<\/p>\n

Heemskerk doubled up with a swift time of 53.19 in the women’s 100 free. \u00a0That vaulted her to fourth in the world behind Cate Campbell (52.62), Sjostrom (52.67) and Bronte Campbell (52.86).<\/p>\n

Ranomi Kromowidjojo vaulted to fifth in the world in the women’s 50 free with a 24.33 to win the splash-and-dash here in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n

Moniek Nijhuis, who already stands third in the world in the short course 50 this year, topped the women’s 50 breast in 30.73.<\/p>\n

Nijhuis returned for the win in the women’s 100 breast with a 1:07.65.<\/p>\n
