Katie and Hayley make great competitors.  I knew I had to give it all I had.  Certainly, having two people like that racing made me work a little harder.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Ziegler owned a lead at the 200-meter mark with a 2:01.48, while Hoff touched right behind with a 2:01.76.  Hoff, however, jumped ahead of Ziegler at the 350-meter mark but could not hold off a hard-charging Ziegler. Hopefully, we can go one-two at Pan Pacs.  I&#39;m totally psyched for it, and I think we can push each other to be even faster.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Club Wolverine&#39;s Hayley Peirsol garnered bronze in 4:06.31 in front of her hometown crowd.<\/p>\n<p>In the consolation heat, Longhorn&#39;s Jessica Rodriquez registered the fastest 200-meter split with a 2:04.69 and made that lead hold up with a time of 4:13.74.  Meanwhile, Sarasota&#39;s Corinne Showalter came in just behind her in 4:13.96, while Trojan Swim Club&#39;s Kalyn Keller finished third in 4:16.42.<\/p>\n<p>In the bonus consolation heat, WSY Swimming&#39;s Leah Gingrich went out with the fastest 200-meter time of 2:05.52.  The lead held up as Gingrich won in 4:14.34.
