GREENSBORO – The USA Swimming nationals at the Greensboro Aquatic Center wraps up tonight with finals in six events, as several top seeds set themselves up for multiple titles and lifetime bests.<\/p>\n

SATURDAY FINALS HEAT SHEET<\/a><\/p>\n

The first event of the night will feature Katie Ledecky as the prohibitive favorite in the 1650 freestyle. How close will she get to her American record of 15:15.17 from last year’s nationals? She’ll have the 1500 free champion from last summer, UCLA’s Katy Campbell, next to her in lane three. Danielle Valley comes in as the second seed representing Sarasota YMCA.<\/p>\n

The men’s 1650 will feature two-time NCAA champion Connor Jaeger and Swimming World Male Open Water Swimmer of the Year Andrew Gemmell<\/a>. Also in the mix will be open water stars Jordan Wilimovsky and Ryan Feeley, as well as NCAA finalist Jeremy Bagshaw.<\/p>\n

Brooklynn Snodgrass and Clara Smiddy will battle in the women’s 200 backstroke championship final, while Louisville looks to go 1-2 in the men’s event with Grigory Tarasevich and Aaron Greene as the top two swimmers. Louisville will have the top two qualifiers in the men’s 200 breaststroke as well, featuring Thomas Dahlia and Carlos Almeida.<\/p>\n

Linnea Mack will be looking for her first national title in the women’s 100 free final, while Nathan Adrian will showcase the skills that garnered him Olympic gold in the men’s final.<\/p>\n

Micah Lawrence could be the class of the field in the women’s 200 breast, and the same will hold true for Kelsi Worrell in the 200 butterfly. Worrell will have swum the 100 free final as well, going into that race as the top seed.<\/p>\n

Dylan Bosch, the U.S. Open record holder in the 200 butterfly, will race a field that includes 200 IM and 400 IM champion Kyle Whitaker. Expect Bosch’s blistering opening pace to be enough to get the win.<\/p>\n
