VIENNA – Lisa Zaiser had an unreal performance at the Austrian Short Course Championships, taking home six titles as well as an Austrian record in the 100-meter IM.<\/p>\n
Zaiser started off by claiming the women’s 800-meter free in 8:39.90 with Hannah Malits (8:46.47) and Katharina Egger (8:56.26) finishing second and third.<\/p>\n
Zaiser then downed Jordis Steinegger in the women’s 400-meter free, 4:05.63 to 4:14.00. \u00a0Hannah Malits took third in 4:17.21.<\/p>\n
Zaiser’s third victory happened in the women’s 200-meter breast with a 2:28.72. \u00a0Sandra Swierczewska (2:30.01) and Annabelle Schwaiger (2:33.81) closed out the top three.<\/p>\n
Zaiser then downed an Austrian record in the women’s 100-meter IM for her fourth title of the meet. \u00a0She raced to a 59.93 to become the first sub-1:00 Austrian, downing her 1:00.12 from the Doha stop of the FINA World Cup this year. Katarina Listopadova took second in 1:00.54 with Birgit Koschischek finishing third in 1:00.90.<\/p>\n
Zaiser tacked on a fifth victory with a winning time of 31.45 in the women’s 50-meter breast, while Christina Nothdurfter took second in 32.46. \u00a0Lucia Ledererova earned third in 32.59.<\/p>\n
Zaiser could not be stopped as she rolled to a sixth win in the women’s 200-meter IM with a 2:09.80. \u00a0Jordis Steinegger (2:16.06) and Lena Kreundl (2:17.72) closed out the podium.<\/p>\n
Jordis Steinegger topped the women’s 400-meter IM in 4:36.04, while Lena Kreundl took second in 4:48.54. \u00a0Veronika Kolnikova finished third in 4:50.68.<\/p>\n
Steinegger then won the women’s 200-meter back in 2:08.51, just off her national record of 2:08.04 from the Dubai stop of the World Cup. \u00a0Carina Macavei took second in 2:11.12 with Sarah Rolko finishing third in 2:14.80.<\/p>\n
Steinegger kept on winning, this time with a 1:00.51 in the women’s 100-meter back. \u00a0Sarah Rolko (1:01.73) and Carina Macavei (1:01.90) also made the top three.<\/p>\n
Robert Glinta captured the men’s 200-meter back in 1:57.46 with Lander Hendrickx taking second in 1:57.81. \u00a0Nils Van Audekerke finished third in 1:58.56.<\/p>\n
Glinta then won the men’s 100-meter back in 53.54. \u00a0Bernhard Reitshammer placed second in 55.20 with Lander Hendrickx taking third in 55.58.<\/p>\n
Glinta swept the backstroke titles with a 24.93 in the men’s 50-meter back. \u00a0Martin Spitzer (25.07) and Louis Croenen (25.57) finished second and third.<\/p>\n
Birgit Koschischek won the women’s 50-meter free in 24.85 with Katarina Listopadova (25.22) and Julie Meynen (25.58) rounding out the top three.<\/p>\n
The two then traded spots in the women’s 100-meter fly as Listopadova beat Koschischek to the wall, 57.84 to 58.52. \u00a0Lena Kreundl finished third in 59.31.<\/p>\n
Koschischek won a second title in the women’s 50-meter fly with a 26.74. \u00a0Lena Kreundl (26.80) and Lucy Uiberreiter (27.28) earned second and third.<\/p>\n
Listopadova’s second title came by way of the women’s 200-meter free with a 1:57.49, while Lisa Zaiser took second in 2:01.55. \u00a0Julia Kukla finished third in 2:02.71.<\/p>\n
Koschischek then claimed a third victory with a 54.02 in the women’s 100-meter free. \u00a0Lena Kreundl (54.58) and Julie Meynen (55.33) rounded out the top three.<\/p>\n
Jasper Aerents took the men’s 50-meter free in 22.01 with Tomas Plevko taking second in 22.27. \u00a0Martin Spitzer claimed third in 22.40.<\/p>\n
Aerents doubled up in the men’s 50-meter fly with a 24.11. \u00a0Martin Spitzer took second in 24.28 with Alin Coste finishing third in 24.47.<\/p>\n
Aerents tripled with a 48.32 to win the men’s 100-meter free. \u00a0Alexander Knabl (49.15) and Gottfried Eisenberger (49.33) snared second and third.<\/p>\n
David Brandl took the men’s 400-meter free crown in 3:46.34. Felix Aubock (3:46.48) and Emmanuel Vanluchene (3:46.73) placed second and third.<\/p>\n
Brandl earned a second title with a 1:46.37 in the men’s 200-meter free. \u00a0Sebastian Steffan (1:46.99) and Felix Aubock (1:48.28) took second and third.<\/p>\n
Tomas Klobucnik snared the men’s 100-meter breast in 58.78 with Johannes Dietrich taking second in 1:00.62. \u00a0Sasa Gerbec finished third in 1:00.99.<\/p>\n
Klobucnik then hit the wall in 2:07.48 to win the men’s 200-meter breast. \u00a0Maximilian Reindl (2:10.62) and Johannes Dietrich (2:11.28) finished second and third.<\/p>\n
Emmanuel Vanluchene claimed the men’s 100-meter IM in 54.66 with Heiko Gigler setting an Austrian junior record with a 55.31 for second. \u00a0Gottfried Eisenberger placed third in 55.58.<\/p>\n
Vanluchene then topped the men’s 200-meter IM in 1:57.59. \u00a0Sebastian Steffan (1:58.84) and Lander Hendrickx (2:01.61) placed second and third.<\/p>\n
Lena Kreundl captured the women’s 100-meter breast in 1:07.45 with Christina Nothdurfter finishing second in 1:10.84. Sandra Swierczewska touched third in 1:10.87.<\/p>\n
Sebastian Steffan won the men’s 400-meter IM in 4:16.50. \u00a0Patrick Staber (4:22.56) and Marek Polach (4:26.65) wound up second and third.<\/p>\n
Felix Aubock won the men’s 1500-meter free in 14:55.39, while Lander Hendrickx finished second in 15:01.38. Matthias Schweinzer placed third in 15:21.48.<\/p>\n
Nikolaus Dittirich touched out Jasper Aerents, 54.02 to 54.05, in the men’s 100-meter fly, while Filip Milcevic placed third in 54.29.<\/p>\n
