Fourteen-time All-American Dusing posted a season-best 1:48.24 en route to his victory in the 200-yard individual medley. He also claimed first-place honors in the 500-yard freestyle, touching in 4:27.08 to edge out Tennessee’s Brent Tannhauser by 0.09 seconds. <\/p>\n
Senior Jon Younghouse (Cape Girardeau, Mo. \/ Cape Central) claimed the first event victory for Texas, winning the 1,650-yard freestyle in an NCAA consideration standard time of 15:25.82, while junior Jamie Rauch (Houston, Texas \/ Cypress Creek) posted another NCAA consideration standard time for the Longhorns with his 1:39.14 performance in winning the 200-yard freestyle.
