VERACRUZ – After two days of swimming that featured nearly double digits in meet records, the\u00a0Central American and Caribbean Games swimming hit a hurdle with severe winds causing the cancellation of tonight’s finals.<\/p>\n

Meet managers are still looking into how it will impact the rest of the meet schedule as finals in the women’s 200-meter fly, men’s 100-meter back, women’s 100-meter free, men’s 400-meter IM, women’s 50-meter breast and men’s 50-meter fly could either be postponed or turned into timed finals.<\/p>\n

Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace was expected to challenge for the 100 free title after winning the 50 fly\u00a0last night.<\/p>\n
