That&#8217;s under the meet record of 15:37.59 set by Venezuela&#8217;s Alejandro Gomez in 2010. \u00a0Colombia&#8217;s Mateo De Angulo also cleared the meet record with a 15:26.71 for second, while Gomez wound up third tonight in 15:37.85.<\/p>\n<p>Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace of the Bahamas blasted her way to a meet record in the women&#8217;s 50-meter fly with a time of 26.46. \u00a0That swim lowered her previous mark of 26.92 from 2010. \u00a0Colombia&#8217;s Carolina Colorado touched second in 27.40 with Venezuela&#8217;s Jeserik Pinto placing third in 27.54.<\/p>\n<p>Venezuela&#8217;s Carlos Claverie touched out Colombia&#8217;s Jorge Mario Murillo, 1:01.76 to 1:01.90, for the men&#8217;s 100-meter breast title. \u00a0Both cleared the meet record of 1:02.07 set by Edgar Crespo back in 2010. \u00a0Crespo, meanwhile, placed third tonight in 1:02.45.<\/p>\n<p>During prelims, Mexico&#8217;s Maria Fernanda Gonzalez tied the meet record in the women&#8217;s 100-meter back with a 1:02.26. That matched Rita Medrano&#8217;s 2010 mark set in Mayaguez. \u00a0Tonight, Gonzalez crushed the record with a 1:01.57. \u00a0Colombia&#8217;s Carolina Colorado finished second in 1:03.00 for her second podium of the night, while Guatemala&#8217;s Gisela Morales finished third in 1:03.81.<\/p>\n<p>Another meet record tumbled in the men&#8217;s 200-meter IM as Colombia&#8217;s Omar Pinzon won in 2:02.07. \u00a0That swim clipped Bradley Ally&#8217;s mark of 2:02.32 from 2010. \u00a0El Salvador&#8217;s Rafael Alfaro placed second in 2:03.99 with Mexico&#8217;s Ezequiel Trujillo earning third in 2:04.20.<\/p>\n<p>Venezuela&#8217;s Andreina Pinto won her second medal of the meet with a 2:00.42 in the women&#8217;s 200-meter free. \u00a0That&#8217;s just off Claudia Poll&#8217;s 2006 meet record of 2:00.19. Yesterday, Pinto won the 400 free in 4:11.65.
