For more information about Agon, visit their website\u00a0<a style=\"color: #1155cc;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.agonswim.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #005ed4;\">Agonswim.com<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>GRANITE BAY, California, October 15. \u00a0The Anderson family certainly has swimming in their blood as the third of three sisters, Jordan, has committed to swim for the University of Utah today.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan, the younger sister of Olympians Alyssa and Haley, is headed to Utah out of the Sierra Marlins Swim Team.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">&#8220;I am so happy to continue the Pacific 12 tradition that has run in my family!&#8221; Jordan told <em>Swimming World<\/em>. &#8220;I chose Utah because of the incredible coaching staff and how supportive the team is! I can&#8217;t wait to be a part of the Ute family and can&#8217;t wait to get there!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jordan follows in the line of her sisters, with a distance freestyle tradition. \u00a0Her highest-ranked time is a 9:58.75 in the 1000-yard free from earlier this year. Alyssa, the oldest, won an Olympic gold medal as part of the 800-meter freestyle relay at the 2012 London Olympics. She swam at the University of Arizona. \u00a0Haley, who went on to become an Olympic silver medalist in the 10K open water event at the 2012 London Olympics, swam for the University of Southern California collegiately, and still trains with Trojan Swim Club.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Alyssa and Haley were just the second U.S. sister tandem to ever compete in the same Olympics in swimming. \u00a0Tara and Dana Kirk were the first at the 2004 Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agon is the proud sponsor of all high school coverage (recruiting, results, state championships, etc.) on SwimmingWorld.com.
