The tide was turning in Arizona\u2019s favor, but the Cats had to make a statement in the 100 fly.<br \/>\nThey did.<\/p>\n<p>Sixth qualifier Lyndon Ferns, swimming in lane seven, took the race out hard and turned first in 21.00, while Arizona\u2019s Albert Subirats, the #1 qualifier, languished in fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Not to worry.  Ferns held his lead, while Subirats began passing the men ahead of him.<\/p>\n<p>At the wall, it was one-two for Arizona, with Ferns the winner in 45.89, 13-hundredths ahead of his teammate.<\/p>\n<p>After this event, Auburn held a 34-point lead.
