THE qualifying times for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials are out, and hundreds of swimmers are getting to work with the goal of earning the right to be in the meet. Though the cuts are faster than they were in 2012, we wanted to know what you thought about them in our last poll.  <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/U4XAl6P87V4?rel=0&#038;autoplay=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<b>YouTube Measures Views Only For Episodes Watched On YouTube<br \/>\nSubscribe to our YouTube channel, SwimmingWorldSPI<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Though not a majority, 49 percent of people who voted in the poll said the cuts were just right. Thirty-five percent of people believed the cuts were too slow and 16 percent said the times were too fast. USA Swimming is estimating that 1400 swimmers will attend the Olympic Trials in 2016, about 400 less than 2012. So far, about 750 men and women have surpassed the qualifying times. The college swimming and diving season is slowly, but surely, getting underway as a few of the top teams are putting in some early competition. This week, we want to know which women\u2019s team you think will win the NCAA Division I swimming and diving team title. We\u2019ll give you four voting options in this poll. Will it be California, which placed second last March, or will it be two-time reigning champion Georgia? Stanford had a great meet last March and could threaten for a title, so we\u2019ve put the Cardinal in the poll as well.
