CARLSBAD, Calif. March 9. THE Speedo Champions Series hits full stride this week with Sectional meets taking place all over the country at various venues. Many of the nation's top future stars will be competing at these meets, and even a few current superstars will hit the water for some fast competition. Check back at www.swimmingworldmagazine.com for updates and recaps over the weekend on the CLUB channel. To follow the events live, click on the links below. Four of the six meets currently have LIVE HyTech results. <\/p>\n

The Western Region Section in Phoenix, Arizona got underway yesterday with completion of the 1000 Freestyles and the 200 Freestyle Relays. Carl Jones of the Tri-City Channel Cats took the 1000 on the men's side with a quick 9:22.55. For the women, Whitney Lopus of Sun Devil Aquatics took the gold in the distance event with a swift 10:00.80.<\/p>\n
