DALLAS, Texas, February 28. FIFTEEN past and two current members of The University of Texas men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named to the Big 12 Conference's 10th Anniversary Team, as selected by the conference\u2019s head coaches. In order to be eligible for consideration, candidates must have been an event winner at the Big 12 Championships. Anniversary teams are being chosen for each conference sport during the 2005-06 season in celebration of the Big 12's 10th Anniversary.<\/p>\n
Among those honored were two current UT swimmers, senior Elizabeth Wycliffe (Kingston, Ontario) and junior Elizabeth Tinnon (Bowling Green, Ky.). Also being honored by the Big 12 were UT alumni Colleen Lanne' (2000, '01), Ariadne Legendre (1998, '99, '00), Vera Llyina (1997, '98), Erin Maher (1998, '99), Sarah Wanezek (2003, '04, '05) and Laura Wilkinson (1997, '98, '99).<\/p>\n
For the men, Ian Crocker (2001, '02, '03 '04), Troy Dumais (2000, '01, '02), Nate Dusing (1998, '99, '00, '01), Scott Goldblatt (1998, '99, '00, '01), Tom Hannan (1999, '00, '01), Brendan Hansen (2001, '02, '03, '04), Rainer Kendrick (2002, '03, '04), Jamie Rauch (1998, '00, '01) and Matt Ulrickson (1998, '99, '00) were all honored by the Big 12.<\/p>\n
