PHOENIX, Arizona, August 25. \u00a0WHILE fans of the sport of swimming have always been in awe of some of the flat-out amazing imagery photographers of our sport like Swimming World<\/em>‘s Peter H Bick have been able to produce, some of those same fans tend to have a bit more of a different artistic take on the beauty of the competitions.<\/p>\n

Paul Niles, a self-described “poor swimmer” when he was a kid who helped his childhood friends swim faster, has always had a thing for pencil-sketched art. \u00a0An art major in college, he always gravitated towards the quick sketches he has the ability to perform in a relatively fast manner.<\/p>\n

Niles, who is a rabid fan of the sport of swimming that watches live streams with the best of them, has found a bit of a following on Twitter this summer after he started posting his hand sketches of the sport. \u00a0He finds inspiration either from particular images on live streams, pictures posted on Twitter or other images published by Swimming World<\/em>. \u00a0The key is just how fast he is at reproducing an image in a hand-sketch format.<\/p>\n

By the time finals roll around, he’s typically tweeted out a handful of sketch pictures for people to see. If you want to see his work with regularity, check him out on Twitter at @ArtistpArtist.
