BOCA RATON, FLorida. January, 26. By posting season-best times in two events this week, Florida Atlantic University swimmer, Lauren Shue, was named Sun Belt Conference Performer of the Week. Shue won the 500 and 1000 free at Florida State on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Fort Myers, FL native swam times of 10:13.48 in the 1000 free and 4:59.01 in the 500 free, which were her fastest of the season and the fastest in the conference. She helped guide the team to wins over Florida A&M and IRCC and narrowly missed a win over Florida State.<\/p>\n
She will lead the team into a meet on Saturday against Miami and Tampa before the team heads to the Sun Belt Championships on Feb. 16-18 in Denver, CO.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
