COLLEGE PARK, Maryland, August 16. TWELVE days ago, Spanish Olympian set his first Masters world record, swimming a 2:11.56 in the 200 backstroke at the FINA Masters long course world championships. Today at the U.S. Masters Swimming nationals Hviid took his record in the 40-44 age group even lower with a dominating swim at the University of Maryland.<\/p>\n
Hviid, 40 years old now representing Germantown Masters in the States, posted a 2:11.13, the fastest time of the meet.<\/p>\n
