KNOXVILLE, Tennessee, August 9. DUKE\u00a0Diving\u2019s\u00a0Andrew Capobianco<\/strong>\u00a0(Holly Springs, N.C.) and\u00a0Jordan Windle<\/strong>\u00a0(Morrisville, N.C.) closed out the 2014 USA Diving Junior National Championships with two more gold medals\u00a0Saturday<\/span>, as the teammates combined to win seven gold medals over the course of the six-day championships.\u00a0Camryn Hidalgo<\/strong>\u00a0(Mission Viejo, Calif.) of the Mission Viejo Nadadores also won gold on the final day of competition.<\/p>\n

Capobianco completed the sweep of the 14-15 boys\u2019 individual events with 474.60 points for gold on 3-meter\u00a0Saturday<\/span>. He had already claimed gold on 1-meter and platform earlier in the week. Woodlands Diving Academy teammates\u00a0Joshua Davidson<\/strong>\u00a0(Tomball, Texas) and\u00a0Anton Hoherz<\/strong>\u00a0(Spring, Texas) were second and third on 3-meter with 463.90 and 441.05 points respectively.<\/p>\n

Windle won his fourth gold medal of the week after taking the boys\u2019 16-18 1-meter title with 635.15 points. He also won gold in synchronized 3-meter, synchronized platform and individual 3-meter, while finishing second individually on platform.\u00a0Henry Fusaro<\/strong>\u00a0(Scottsdale, Ariz.) of Clavadistas del Sol took the 1-meter silver with 574.90, and\u00a0Christopher Law<\/strong>\u00a0(San Antonio, Texas) of Alamo Area Aquatics finished third with 544.95 points after winning platform\u00a0on Friday<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Hidalgo scored 533.95 points to take gold in the girls\u2019 16-18 platform contest, with Tucson Diving\u2019s\u00a0Delaney Schnell<\/strong>\u00a0(Tucson, Ariz.) finishing with 527.40 points for silver.\u00a0Brooke Pospichal<\/strong>\u00a0(Plano, Texas\/Indianapolis, Ind.) was third at 459.40.<\/p>\n

For the third year in a row, the Ohio State Diving Club was named the junior national team champion. Duke Diving was the boys\u2019 team champion, while GC Diving won the girls\u2019 team title.<\/p>\n

With the conclusion of the Junior National Championships, the focus now shifts to the AT&T National Diving Championships, which run\u00a0August 12-17<\/span>\u00a0in Knoxville.<\/p>\n
