THE past few months haven\u2019t been easy for Nick Thoman, with rehab from a shoulder injury and reduced training affecting his preparation for the USA Swimming nationals. But after placing second in the 50 backstroke, Thoman has bigger motivation for tomorrow\u2019s 100 backstroke.<\/p>\n
One aspect that will help Thoman is being fully shaved, and he talked about the process he\u2019s made with his facial hair throughout the week and the mental preparation he\u2019s made to get ready for his first race of the meet.<\/p>\n
