DENVER, Colo. December, 10. FOUR swimmers from the University of Denver swimming and diving team have found spots on the national Top 100 list for individual events. <\/p>\n
Kelsey Totura (Castle Rock, Colo.) is the highest ranking member of the Pioneer team, coming in at No. 40 in the 200-back with a time of 2:00.39. Totura also holds other national times. She ranks No. 52 in the 100-back with a time of 56.45 and No. 98 in the 200-free with a time of 1:50.86. Marcus Christianson (Hutchinson, Minn.) is next at No. 44 in the 100-breast with a time of 56.23. . Christianson also ranks No. 69 in the 200-breast with a time of 2:04.63.<\/p>\n
Other Pioneers that have nationally-ranked times are freshman Caitlin Summers (Tigard, Ore.) who ranks No. 59 in the 1650-free and Craig Jollands (Hillcrest, South Africa) ranks No. 92 in the 200-back with a time of 1:50.37. <\/p>\n
The DU relays have also earned several nationally-ranked times. On the men\u2019s side the 200-medley relay is the highest ranking relay at No. 50 with a time of 1:33.15. The 200-free relay ranks No. 53 with a time of 1:23.94. The 400-free relay comes in at No. 58 with a time of 3:06.52, the 800-free relay ranks No. 76 with a time of 7:04.00 and the 400-medley relay ranks No. 63 with a time of 3:25.99. The women\u2019s relays also have turned in some nationally-ranked times. The 800-free relay is the women\u2019s highest ranking relay coming in at No. 32 with a time of 7:29.73. The 400-free relay is No. 48 with a time of 3:28.71, the 200-free relay ranks No. 52 with a time of 1:36.21. The 200-medley relay ranks No. 59 with a time of 1:47.23, while the 400-medly relay ranks No. 51 with 3:51.72.<\/p>\n
The Pioneers will get some rest before heading south to Boca Raton, Fla. for the Florida Atlantic Invitational Dec. 17. The team will face Sun Belt conference foe, Florida Atlantic and LSU in a tri-meet.
