Runge finished second in the women\u2019s 800 free in a time of 8:24.69, qualifying for her first major national team, and she will swim at Pan Pacs in Australia later this month. Runge talked to Swimming World<\/i> after the race about her eventful evening and also her transition from 50 and 100 free as her focus events into the world of distance.<\/p>\n
