The U.S. slipped into a 3-0 hole early in the match but gradually pulled back even with the Greeks. J.W. Krumpholz, who played with the Senior National squad during the summer, registered a hat trick.<\/p>\n
Tyler Kandel added a goal and three assists while Spencer Warden and Caleb Hamilton tallied twice each. Matt Sagehorn also found the net and goalie Chay Lapin was credited with 12 saves. Nico Sardo contributed an assist and a steal. The American players, coached by Doug Peabody, were born between 1987 and 1989.
