United States Aquatic Sports is recognizing the officials who play key roles in support of the Olympic Games across all aquatic disciplines. Read their full announcement below.

United States Aquatic Sports is pleased to recognize twelve individuals who will play key roles in the Tokyo Olympic Games.  The twelve individuals each have significant roles in their respective aquatic disciplines. Their selections are based upon long years of service in the USA and with the full support and endorsement of their National Governing Body.

Each of these individuals was endorsed by the relevant FINA technical committees for the respective disciplines.  Their nominations were approved by the FINA Bureau at its December 16, 2019 meeting in Kuwait City (KUW).  FINA has submitted these selections to the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee.  Several of the disciplines have upcoming test events, at which some of these technical officials will be involved.

“This is a significant honor for each of the following individuals and for the National Governing Body that they represent.  Their dedication and experience is without parallel.  l am pleased that we have so many people involved in the integral preparations for and in the successful conduct of each aquatic discipline at the 2020 Olympic Games.”
