U.S. Masters Spring Nationals: 19 Records Fall on Day 2, led by Rick Colella, Laura Val, Diann Uustal, Chuck Barnes

The first full day of the U.S. Masters Spring National Championships saw a stunning 19 Masters National Age Group Records fall in San Antonio.

Olympian Rick Colella from the Puget Sound club broke three records in the 70-74 age group.

Perennial Masters Swimmer of the Year Laura Val set two, swimming for the Tamaplais Aquatics club.in the 70-74 age group. Diann Uustal set two in the 75-79 age group, swimming for the Sarasota Sharks. Chuck Barnes, swimming for the New England Swim Club also broke two records at the 45-49 age group.

Other record swims came from Steve West, Katie Glenn, Susan Meyers, Andrew McPherson and Richard Abrams.
