You probably know that Chen Yan, who swam 4:53.87 in the 400m IM at the 1996 Olympics, set a world record at 4:34.79. But did you know that there are actually two Chen Yan’s on the Chinese women’s team? No way, you say? Actually, two way – or, more precisely, two Wei. Yes, there are two Wang Wei’s on the Chinese team as well, one of each sex.
