Swimming World is producing the live webcast of the 2016 CeraVe Invitational on the campus of Rutgers University. Click here to watch the live stream, view video interviews and watch races on demand!

This weekend’s CeraVe Invitational on the campus of Rutgers University will feature some of the fastest young talent on the East Coast, many of which are on the cusp of putting their names on the national scene.  For the eighth year in a row, SwimmingWorld.TV will be on hand to produce live webcast coverage of the long course meet starting on Friday.

In addition to host Berkeley Aquatic Club, the meet will also feature some of the top teams on the East Coast such as the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, Badger Swim Club, BlueFish Swim Club and the Delaware Swim Team.

One big name set to compete is Max Miranda of BlueFish.  He’s one of the next in line from a talent-rich program at BlueFish that has produced the likes of Elizabeth Beisel and Laura Sogar.

Check the Psych Sheet on the link to the right to look at everyone attending. All other meet information will be available on the right throughout the meet as well.

York YMCA, along with heavy hitters Courtney Harnish and Meghan Small, were originally slated to compete based on early psych sheets.  But, the team elected not to swim.

The meet will also featured timed-final competition for athletes in the 10-and-under, 11-12 and 13-14 age groups in the afternoon session between the senior prelims and finals sessions.

Webcast schedule
Friday through Sunday:
Senior Prelim 8:15 Am
Age group timed finals at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time
Senior finals at 6 p.m. Eastern time

Another key component of the partnership between Swimming World and the Berkeley Aquatic Club under the leadership of Brent Rutemiller and Jim Wood is the high school internship program that is key to providing the incredible amount of coverage that stems from this event.

High schoolers from around the Piscataway area have been screened and placed by the Berkeley Aquatic Club into various internship positions. Those interns will take part in the three-day coverage in every facet of webcast production, editorial coverage and meet photography.

Former CeraVe Invitational intern and Swimming World assistant producer Chris Rattray is back for another year to mentor the webcast production interns, while Swimming World’s Taylor Brien will be working with the writers and photographers.

2016 Cerave Invitational Interns:

Emma Miller, Edison Moy, Woohee Han, Yumtsokyi Bhum, Oliver Pickering, Nicole Sabin, Kalina Di Marco, Grace Schwiederek, Patrick Boyd, Chris Kong, Ronnie Auer, Era Are, Nicole Weaving, Ka’Sheer Cassett, Natalie Khait and Trina Sanyal.
