Michael Phelps will be much busier at next week’s Arena Pro Swim Series in Mesa, Ariz., than he was last year to mark his comeback to the sport after 18 months away. Phelps is entered in five events, according to the psych sheets released today by USA Swimming.

Whether or not the Greatest Olympian Of All Time swims all five is yet to be decided, but it’s an impressive lineup. Phelps is set for the 100 fly, 100 back, 400 free, 200 IM and 100 free. The meet marks his return to competition after a six-month ban from racing following his DUI arrest in Maryland. Phelps won’t be a part of the world championship team as a result, but has his eyes fully focused on next year’s Olympic Trials and Olympic Games.

Phelps will face off against Lochte in all five events, including the 200 IM in which the two are the fastest performers in history. Lochte will also swim the 200 free.

World Swimmer of the Year Katie Ledecky will be busy as well, scheduled to swim all the freestyle events except for the 50 free. She’s also set for the 400 IM in Mesa.

Plenty of Olympic medalists will be on hand, including reigning 100 free champion Nathan Adrian and 100 back gold medalist Matt Grevers. Also look for Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu, who is signed up for 14 events but might pare that down a bit. The Arena Pro Swim Series awards big cash prizes for top-three finishers, and expect Hosszu, the reigning FINA World Cup winner, to take a big paycheck home as well as some crucial racing experience before world championships.
