Day 2 was another spectacular day. Day 1 was the best swimming day in Aussie history. Tonight the Americans showed their superiority with 1-2 finishes in the 400 Free and 400 IM. Here are some shots.

The Olympic Flame burns bright in Sydney, even during the day.

Gutsy Erik Vendt of the USA won his heat in the prelims of the 400 IM, and then moved up from fifth seeded to take the silver medal behind the phenominal performance of Tom Dolan. Americans 1-2 in the 400 IM!!!
