“USA Swimming is really excited to take this group of National Team and National Junior Team athletes into 2023 as we approach the early stages of the Olympic Qualification Process,” USA Swimming Open Water National Team Director Bryce Elser said. “This group of athletes has already shown an incredible amount of improvement as we navigated our way through the FINA Marathon World Series, World Championships, and World Junior Championships in 2022. The grit required to train for and compete in open water is incredible, and it has been an absolute honor to work with these athletes.”
