The Summer Olympics only come around once every four years, featuring the world’s most talented athletes. Swimming is known to be one of the most watched Olympic sports. The Olympics, as well as the Olympic Trials, are both very impactful among youth swimmers. When you ask age-group swimmers who they look up to the most, many of them will mention names like Michael Phelps, Katie Ledecky, Caeleb Dressel, Missy Franklin, etc. There are so many well-known Olympic swimmers who have left a legacy on the sport, motivating young swimmers to want to be just like them.

The Olympics show swimmers, as well as the entire world, all the possibilities the sport has to offer. As a young swimmer, it is crazy to see how fast Olympians can go in the same events we all swim.
