The International Swimming Hall of Fame Launches New Website

International Swimming Hall of Fame Museum. Dusk

Over the last few months, the International Swimming Hall of Fame has been going through a digital renovation.

“With physical construction going on in Fort Lauderdale, it seemed only fitting to reconstruct the website as well,” said CEO and president Brent Rutemiller. “The new website is now the all-in-one-source for everything Hall of Fame related.”

The physical URL of the new ISHOF website will remain the same, www.ishof.org.

A few new features of the International Swimming Hall of Fame site are the following:

  • A powerful search to find information on all of our award winners and honorees

  • A streamlined database of all ISHOF and International Masters honorees
  • ISHOF newsletter archive

  • A video library of past induction ceremonies
  • Nomination forms
  • Information on Every Child a Swimmer
  • A breakdown of all of our Awards and award recipients

A particularly exciting new element of the website is the digital yearbooks. ISHOF fans can now read and download yearbooks going back to 2006. Additionally, the ISHOF news blog will continue and aqua-fanatics can get the latest information about the new museum! Easy access to the Hall of Fame Swim Shop and directions and information about the Museum can be found on the site as well.

There are plenty of new features that we hope you take a look at, visit the new website here!

To Brent Rutemiller:

Dear Sir:
I was the Water Polo coach of
Armando Fernandez Alatorre, a Mexican Water Polo player, member of the Mexican Team who won the Panamerican Games in Mexico City in 1975.

Besides that Armando played for the Mexican WP team in the Munich, and Montreal Olympics, He missed the 1980, but He played for Germany in the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, placing third place, and played again with the German team in
the Olympics of 1988 in Seoul placing fourth place.

I believe that Armando would deserve to be in the
International Swimming Hall Of Fame.
Will you please consider him?
Best regards.
Eduardo Alcántara Martínez
