Just one day after surpassing Adolf Kiefer’s 100 backstroke records, Miriam Sheehan of the Phoenix Swim Club has snagged her ninth National Age Group record as a 10-year old.

While swimming at the 2015 Fall Meet #1 at PSC Sheehan turned in a sizzling time of 59.67 in the 100-yard fly, shaving 1.01 seconds off her seed time of 1:00.68. Sheehan split a 27.90 on the first 50 and finished the race with a 31.77 split for her final time.

Sheehan’s time bypasses Reagan Smith’s time of 59.80 from 2013.
