Michael Phelps Signs On As Ambassador For Crystal Lagoon

Olympic legend Michael Phelps has recently signed on a with a new sponsor according to a report that appeared in the Houston Business Journal. The 28-time Olympic medalist will be an ambassador for Crystal Lagoons, an international company that, according to their website, has “patented a state-of-the-art technology that enables crystal clear lagoons of unlimited sizes to be built and maintained at very low costs, offering an idyllic beach lifestyle anywhere in the world.”

The October 3rd announcement detailed the company’s new partnership with Phelps and their plans to build their first Lagoons in Texas with Houston developer Land Tejas Cos. The company currently has 16 offices around the world and plans to build two lagoons in Texas: a 1.75 acre lagoon in Balmoral northeast of Houston that is expected to open in June 2018 and another 8.5 acre lagoon in an undisclosed location.

Phelps’ one-year contract with the company has him signed on to be an ambassador for Crystal Lagoons as they continue to expand their company and plan new locations. You can see the original article from the Houston Business Journal here.
