USC junior Louise Hansson won her second NCAA title of the meet on Saturday night at the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin, Texas. Hansson swam a 1:50.28 and held off a hard charging Ella Eastin (1:50.46) of Stanford as she was going for her third straight win in the event.

Louisville’s Grace Oglesby (1:50.80) finished in third place as she had a hard charge on the last 50. Hansson moved up to third all-time with her swim tonight in the 200 fly, while Oglesby moved up to fifth and McLaughlin moved up to seventh.

Cal’s Katie McLaughlin, who was with Hansson at the 125, placed in fourth at 1:51.09.

Stanford’s Katie Drabot (1:51.94) finished fifth from lane eight as she helped Stanford distance its lead over Cal with two events remaining. The Cardinal officially clinched their third straight team title with that swim.

USC’s Maddie Wright (1:52.26), Georgia’s Olivia Carter (1:53.06) and Texas A&M’s Jing Quah (1:53.61) also swam in the final.
