Kim Jogis, Grace Tramack Send Verbals to William and Mary

NEW COMMITS: The Tribe has recently received two verbal commitments from Kim Jogis and Grace Tramack, both of whom will be members of the William and Mary class of 2023.

Jogis, a native of Larchmont, N.Y., swims year-round with Badger Swim Club. At the Metropolitan Senior LCM Championships over the summer, she finished second in the 400m IM (5:01.41) and recorded two new lifetime bests. She also competed at Winter Juniors East and was a three-time finalist at the Metropolitan Senior SCY Championships in February.

Also competing for Mamaroneck High School, Jogis is a five-time New York Federation Championships finalist. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American has qualified for six finals at the NYSPHSAA Section I meet as well, finishing second in the 200 IM (2:09.19) and fifth in the 500 free (5:03.13) as a junior.

She told Swimming World:

  • 500 free – 4:58.05
  • 1000 free – 10:19.89
  • 1650 free – 17:00.03
  • 200 fly – 2:09.70
  • 200 IM – 2:06.89
  • 400 IM – 4:27.19

Grace Tramack

A native of Palo Alto, Calif., Tramack does her club swimming with Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics. She wrapped up a strong long course season at Futures in Richmond where she notched two personal bests. She competed at the Speedo Sectionals in College Station last March and swam a best time in the mile.

Tramack also swims for Henry M. Gunn High School and has qualified for the CIF State Championships each of her three seasons thus far. At the CIF Central Coast Section meet as a junior, she placed fourth in the 500 free (5:01.47) and seventh in the 200 free (1:51.79).

She told Swimming World:

“I am beyond excited and honored to announce my verbal commitment to study and swim at the College of William & Mary! The amazing academics were everything I was looking for and everyone I met on my visit made W&M feel like home. Incredibly grateful to my family, coaches, teachers and friends for supporting and believing in me along the way. I can’t wait to be part of the Tribe family!

  • 500 free – 4:57.95
  • 1000 free – 10:14.97
  • 1650 free – 17:07.74
  • 100 fly – 58.09
  • 200 fly – 2:06.72
  • 200 IM – 2:06.35

Under head coach Matt Crispino, William and Mary finished second at the 2018 CAA Championships.
