Watch US Open Highlights of Katie Ledecky and Bobby Finke From First Two Days Of Action

The first two days of the 2021 Toyota U.S. Open competition featured a pair of stellar performances from Katie Ledecky. Ledecky made a splash on Day One, winning the 800 freestyle. She followed on Day Two with a win in the 400 free, as she touched the wall in 4:00.51 for a meet record.

Women’s 400 free A Final

In the women’s 400 freestyle B final, Kathleen Golding out-touched her Gator teammate, with a time of 4:13.76.

Women’s 400 free B Final

In the women’s 200 IM A final, Leah Smith stopped the clock at 2:11.67. The B final featured Julia Podkoscielny with a time of 2:16.48.

Mallory Comerford swam to victory in the A final of the women’s 50 freestyle. Kobie Melton finished the B final in 25.92 to cap the night.

The men’s side also turned heads on the first day of competition with Bobby Finke playing a starring role. Finke went sub-eight minutes in the 800 freestyle. Watch Finke’s 7:54.07 swim below.

Opening the second night of competition in the men’s 400 freestyle B final was Oskar Lindholm. He stopped the clock at 3:58.43. Toping the A final was Trey Freeman with a time of 3:49.06.

In the 200 IM on the men’s side, Baylor Nelson touched the wall in 1:59.86 during the A final. Nathan Lee claimed top honors in the B final with a time of 2:06.07.

Rounding out the night in the men’s 50 freestyle A final was Bruno Fratus. The Olympic bronze medalist stopped the clock at 22.36.
