Even though the swimmers don’t get going until Tuesday, July 14 of next week, the City of Toronto kicked off the 2015 Pan American Games with a glitzy opening ceremony tonight.

The Games are scheduled to begin July 10 and run through July 26 prior to the Parapan Am Games taking over the city from Aug. 7-15 using the same facilities.

Swimming World was there to capture the amazing opening ceremonies.
