Andrew Seliskar bested the field in the men’s 200-meter freestyle with a 1:48.35 to touch over a second ahead of second-place Jack Levant at the Santa Clara stop of the TYR Pro Swim Series. Having excelled mainly at mid-distance breaststroke at the NCAA level, Seliskar mentioned how he has been working to improve his freestyle races through body position improvement, flutter kick, and tempo.

His motivation is mainly focused on building momentum in his core mid-distance stroke events, including freestyle, with the goal of being a main contributor to the 800 freestyle relay.

Overall, he is content with how his short course successes have translated to long course, especially with the end of his college career coming up in the near future.
